I don’t know if theres anything worse than chapped lips and just to up the ante, almost everyone neglects this important body part. Well chap no more because now you can cure that pout with ingredients right from your kitchen. You can even save a few bucks this way since according to most beauty stores, an ounce of lip scrub is worth $20. Not to my pockets! Now let’s talk ingredients so we can start undermine everything Sephora sells.

What you need :

  • Small container
  • 1 TBSP brown or white sugar
  • 1/4 TSP of honey or coconut oil
  • Drop of Vanilla (optional)
  • Pinch of Cinnamon

  • Mix ingredients together to form a paste
  • Put in container & enjoy!

Simple, right? Most of these items are probably in your kitchen and if not you can get all these items from your local store for under $10. Using the scrub is just as easy as making it. If you added cinnamon, apply the scrub to your lips and let sit for about 30 seconds, your lips will start to tingle a bit and that’s normal. The spice is making the blood rush to your lips to give you the appearance of a fuller pout. Afterwards, gently rub the mixture over your lips to loosen dead skin, then rinse with warm water and pat dry.

Do this a few times a weak at the most and this scrub will leave your lips feeling amazing. You’ll even notice your lip products will set better and won’t settle into creases as much. Basically this concoction will have you taking selfies with that duck face for hours. As for our male readers, don’t be afraid to try this out either. Us women love men with soft lips, especially a man that carries around a little container of exfoliant. Just try it.
